is small block and big block 727 column shift linkage the same? What year range for a 70 satellite? Thanks Terry

My understanding is the column shift linkage needs to fit or be compatible with the car regardless of 904/727. For example, I'm using the factory column shift setup on my 75 Scamp that originally had 225/904/7.25 but will now have 383/727/8.75. You should be looking into 68-70 column shift B Bodies.
