I do not think that would be a good thing to do or attempt. How many small block Chrysler were built and still being built. People would rather swap a Gen 3 Hemi with wiring harness and all other parts to make it run like a new vehicle. But I know of a few that have swapped an SRT4 Turbo into a Fox Body Mustang making it a rear wheel drive. None of these Brand X changes I would do.

has anyone ever swapped a 351 based ford engine into an a-body duster/demon ? Seems plausible if you had a nicely worked up one already w/trans. And if you were replacing a worn/beaten 318, 6-cyl, or a smog 360. Would love to see the looks on the Mopar Crazys faces at a show

lol, the motor i have is a 420 cid stroker windsor dyno'd at 787 hp. so its a no joke engine trans is a g force 101a. body is a 71 duster very straight and very clean. just thinking. probably too much trouble. i disagree with the neg comments about this swap. doing this swap is what old time hot rodding is all about. making what you have fast with what you have available to you. i say GO FOR IT. after saying that, it won't be a easy swap and you won't get much help doing it. so be prepared before you start.

This is where some 3D modeling software would really tell the story. If someone develops engines models, it would be easy to “drop it in” and see where the issues are. Lol It's called a tape measure and it's already done. The 351w is 1/2" wider, 4" shorter and essentially the same height.

Ford engines in our Mopars?!?!?! What's next? Ford 9" rears in our Mopars? Exactly I would round out the swap with a 9" Ford type rear with ZERO factory parts used and then you would have a bulletproof drive train with that G-force box and the track proven stroker Ford engine. Wrap all that up in a Duster with a 4-link and you have a very nice consistent drag car. Go for it man Gus

Ford engines in our Mopars?!?!?! What's next? Ford 9" rears in our Mopars? Mopars in Vzla use to get their K member and suspension replaced by the GM half chassis and suspension system ( Novas and Caprice ). I also have seen Ford axles and 350 engines on them... so yes, it can be worst.

I’d probably chose to just make life easier for myself.
If I “had” to use that motor, I’d find a Ford product to put it in.
There are several Ford bodies I like well enough to use.
