I would think that the tailpipes would be black ish from oil and or rich. I'd more suspect a leak (especially the quantity you are loseing) especially if the plugs look decent.

Never mind, this site can not accept a standard picture, what a shame! Does this say something about the lack of tecknology of Moparts? I can post standard pics...maybe its your tec hnology??

When you did the oil change, did you check the oil level on the stick after run up? Maybe it's a calibration issue. I feel using that much oil, you would be getting some tell tale blue smoke while driving.

Is this a Hemi motor? The reason I ask is to see if you can pull the plugs and see if the plugs are shiny or dull on the insulator and ground strap If it is hemi motor and you don't have the spark plug seals sealed up it is hard to get them out without drowning them in oil
