After a failed attempt to make this csrb work with E-85 I am stripping it down and replacing all the E-85 parts and going back to racing gas, I am going to change the boosters in the main body but need some info on what main metering blocks to use, I have narrowed it down to Quick fuel or BLP blocks but am having trouble figuring out which ones I need for a race only 2 circuit carb, it seems a little confuzing to me as to what part number's I need,, I do want to run a powervalve in the front but none in the secondarys, carb guru's??

I can calibrate blocks for ya but really suggest t-slot jets in the main body to finer tune the whole carb............. Hey thumper what do you think of the new get em blocks? Are they expensive? Thanks for your professional opinion in advance. Don

Almost everyone that I know that tried E85 finally switched over to alcohol. Most are EXTREMELY happy. Send it to APD and join the "happy crowd". I said I would NEVER do it and now I would never go bracket racing with anything else.

I said I would NEVER do it and now I would never go bracket racing with anything else. I switched back to gas several years ago and the car became happy again so I am going to listen to the car and stay with gas, I have a station just down the street that sells VP bulk and their prices are reasonable, If I were racing every weekend then mabey I would go to moonshine, I just need to get this other carb back together with good parts and dialed in, the 3 circuit works well but needs tuned in for this motor, the only thing that has been changed is I put new Quick fuel bowls on it to make it easier to set the float level with the big windows, it still has the origional metering blocks and boosters.

Well if you want to take one more swing at things, I'd give these guys a call: http://www.classicmtrsprts.com/I pay out the waazoo for a pail of C-12, but I know how the car is going to act every time. Is what it is...
