the issue i have is the reference lines fill up quickly with fuel. im not sure if it has any affect on the powervalve. ie damages it, or causes it to not get reading.
i assume (ass out of you and me) that it wont matter it will still see signal.
can anyone confirm or deny these accusations?

can anyone confirm or deny these accusations? Are you asking a question about the blower, carb. or fuel filters?

can anyone confirm or deny these accusations? I would try to route the line so it drains back to the manifold and no I would not worry about it too much at this point. Do you have your carb setup like this one in my link? I know you don't want to hear this but, IMO carbs don't work so well on blowers. You should go injection if your gonna use a blower and blow the guys away who are trying to use carbs. Checkout this link to get familer with what he is asking about. LINK

I don't think there should be any fuel in the vac, boost side of the power valve. Since that line is under boost sometimes it stands to reason that fuel is going find it's way into that line. All you can do is route it so it can drain when the boost goes away. Part of the reason carbs are not the best for blowers.

next question is diameter of the lines really matter? I just have never had fuel in my gauge line for boost, vacuum but that is a 1/8 nylon.I would say you have a leak at some point letting it migrate up the line.

i dont have any leaks... i pull about 15lbs vacuum at idle under the blower. and hit 12lbs boost. the reference line is under the blower. where air and fuel are. usually people use black lines. i just had clear so wanted to make sure.
my line is 1/4 clear hose. The 1/4" will be fine!Air moves fast,Just watch for heat related effect like getting too soft or bending and keeping that form.

So those are in the base plate? I just did a pair of 850's for a 588 BB Chevy in a boat and they referenced from the ported hole in the metering blocks w/hard line and no issues w/fuel that I could see and he said they flat out flew............

no they go into the front of each carb just above the mounting flange so far im not happy with these demons nothing but headaches. but i had bought them back in 2008. and didn't use them until a few months ago.
it didnt happen over night it just kept getting milkier and milkier most of it from flooding during tuning stage. (did more last night) they seem to be working as the car pulls stupidly hard now. ill replace them with fresh lines and see if they start building up again. if it does ill simply go smaller diameter and coloured. (canadian u eh?)
