I agree. The handled the PR side of it poorly. The fact still remains the only hope these guys have of getting a block (because they won't get the money back) is the guys who bought up what was left of KB make enough money to fill the back orders.

It's absolutely incredible to me that grown men, whom, most of them is suspect are over 30 don't have the life knowledge to understand it's anything but a 3-4:1 ratio of new blocks being sold to back order fills.

To fill the back orders first would require the capital of a bill gates. That's what I'm saying. They have one hope.

KB was in real trouble and was failing for sure. It would have been gone for sure eventually. There was a reason this company was failing and the new owners had to address this and then when they did determine the problem they had to figure out how to correct it. This has been a very costly issue for them, more than most of you guys will ever realize. Just because blocks are flowing does not mean profits are.

That's certainly possible.
If selling blocks were an easy way to get rich more people would be doing it.

My main point is........ Don't make promises you can't follow through on.
The guys waiting for years have already had enough of that.

If its going to be 12 months before they can get you your block, just be up front about it.

And believe it or not we are very lucky to still have them in the game.

Some people that are currently out money and no block are probably pissed at the fact the KB was accepting monies knowing full well there was no product going to be produced let alone delivered. Same thing happened when I had "Performance Only" in the process of building an engine, parts were being sent to him with him knowing full well he was never going to be able to build it and Iast I had spoken to him he was willing to accept a large sum of monies for the completion and a few days before I was going to send the funds I read on this board that he had died and come to find out he had known for quite some time he was terminal. At first I thought wow he's gone, then it clicked that the sob was going to steal my money as I had come to find out that he had done to others. So not only is communication paramount but also honesty. I think most people would say that being lied to in a business deal is the one thing that gets them upset the most. I was going to send money to FHO for a KB Hemi block and I had been talked into selling my new mega block but luckily I was told hang on but unfortunately now I had no block. So let the dog fights continue......carry on.

Yea, if Moparts brethren had any collective moral fiber we would start a go-fund-me to ensure their success. We just don't realize how lucky we are!

The press release plainly said EVERYTHING but Hemi blocks would be stopped until things got turned around, now everybody finds out that chevs are flowing. That's not good.

I have no dog in this fight but I will say one thing. When I read they were keeping Ken Black employed I didn't take that as a good sign. If I had bought the company knowing what had been happening I would have made sure that guy and his rep were gone.

Oh, and I'm really wondering how many back ordered blocks are in waiting, 10-15? I seriously doubt any more than that. So at $7500 a block X 10 = $75,000 . If they don't have that much working capital, whitch is peanuts to a large endever such as this company, makes you think something is wrong.

Funny you say that. A very good friend of mine who is out 7K just asked me to order a couple blocks so he would get his faster. LOL He is a good friend but I politely declined. I told him he should call and ask to buy 3 more so they could ship the three new orders with his BO. Kinda like dollar cost averaging or something right ? This 3 new orders to 1 BO plan could be manipulated in ones favor.........

And they answer their phones is the statement that made this completely untrue...

I know you don't know the whole story because your way of thinking is way off.
There is no justification for new management not to fill backorders, the new ownership is the same company and they are responsible. No bankruptcy was filed. You think you know but you don't.
