Finishing up my FiTech install, currently have a Mustang fuel filter laying near frame rail.
What did you guys use and where did you mount it?

with fuel injection you should put a screen mesh filter, 20 micron, BEFORE the pump and a fine paper, 100 micron, somewhere AFTER the pump and before the injectors and regulators.

I should have added:
I have the Spectra EFI tank with the in-tank fuel pump.

I am using an Edelbrock -6AN 40 micron filter on the Holley terminator.
BTW, I do have the Madhu pulse width regulator operating in a non return environment running 45psi to the throttle body.

This is backwards and IMO you should never a paper filter especially with fuel injection.

Fitech calls for 58 psi.
This is the prefilter I am using, SUM-230106.
The fuel pump,SUM-250111,mounted below the fuel cell.
The filter near the throttle bodies,SUM-230116-B.

The Spectra tank has a built in pump with built in sock filter. That is why I am just using a 40 micron filter in line with the injectors. My filter is under the hood inline with the fuel supply to the injectors. The pressure gauge to activate the PWM is on a T on the outlet of the EFI with a cap on the end. This is where the mechanical bypass regulator was hooked up but it is not needed now. I am also using this sensor on the Megasquirt so I can monitor and log fuel pressure.

FYI for anyone looking at this, I ended up getting the standard filter used in my 06 Mustang and found this clamp on Amazon.
Less than $30 for both, I couldn't see paying almost $100 for the same thing from Aeromotive.
