It depends on what size your talking about taking off and if your converting from drums to disc brakes or not If your switching from 9 inch drums to the later model(1973 to 1976) A body disc brakes with the big bolt pattern you will need the upper and lower control arms with the ball joints, spindles and all the brake mounting brackets, hardware and disc and calipers mounting bolts and switch to a proper size for your car disc brake master cylinder I did this on my 1971 Duster with the early small bolt pattern disc brakes, I swapped the passenger side to the drivers side on the later model caliper mounting brackets and brake calipers to get that heavy weight single piston caliper behind the spindles

Are you wanting to swap to the bigger 10 inch A body brakes or the bigger B body drum brakes? Either way I'm not sure what you need to do that swap either way Sorry. If your wanting the lightest weight front brake on your car one of the after market racing front disc conversion kits with aluminum calipers may be lighter than any of the stock drum brakes set ups I have a 1965 dart 270 that I bought a front disc brake conversion for the stock nine inch brake front spindles from Strange Engr. I haven't weighed them against the stock brakes yet due to the car still being under construction and I haven't mounted all the front brake parts yet The car was a shell only when I bought it with boxes and boxes of parts, it came from Santa Barbara, CA so there is no rust on it to fix or body work to have done

then 10 inch A body brakes, i swapped out the old rear for an 8 3/4" rear. This going to be a stocker running in K/SA. if this was going to be a ss car or car with a big block I would go the disk brake route.

convert to larger front brakes on a 67 cuda? are you staying SBP? some ceramic or velvetouch shoes or haveing a brake specialty shoes rivet on some killer lining material might give you the extra bite you need & not add any weight.

Quick question I found a set of 1973-76 Large Ball Joint Upper Control Arms. Will those work without any problems?

I did the disc brake change as Cab did but didn't switch sides, seems that extra weight of the calipers really doesn't matter on my Barracuda. Payed $100. bucks for everything and bought new pads.
it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead
