I run custom-cut Accel 8mm wires...not sure on part number.

We run Taylors.Have for years on everything.A few are a bit long but not real bad.Even ran a set listed for my 57 Chrysler when I had it.On my 440 and the 413 we run stock 0nes for a 440 and then install the GM type boots for MSD dist.Rocky

With the massive lengths of the general part number wires they always look crappy. what about sliding the terminal/wire back out of the boot then opening the crimp a bit then cutting the wire leaving a core pigtail & folding it under the terminal and recrimping. easy to do & some lube on the insulation helps greatly with this when reinstalling & most wire crimpers have a pair of notch halves sized just for crimping these terminals

And it helps to have some spare wires (old or new) so that you can use the mix of straights and 90*s on the cap ends that works the best.

I thought it was worth asking if someone explored other part numbers for better fitment without re-doing the wires. definitely worth asking & you'd think with routing being pretty much std (I think) with a few model variations maybe that they'd get em closer or if that ain't possible (too many possibilities) that they'd stick with cut to fit kits. I'd guess that if the wires wont reach on an app that there'd be too many potential comebacks. bad feedback is a killer
