Pretty tight. Mine has been quickest when it falls back to 6300 on a 7000 shift. Really surprised me it wanted to be that loose as it has a 727 and a 15-1 572

Talking w/Jason Pettis the other day he likes to see between 800-1200 rpm`s BUT, not all cars fall into that category and some are quicker on either side of that.........

Big block and small block are to different worlds..
BB love to use the torque.. SB have to use rpm
EDIT
But you cant ever let a SB go below the max torque

peak is torque is 7000

laugh2..... sounds like I'm tuning it!

what is the 60ft?

another "gray" area..... you say small block, but is it a 360ish build, or a 440? IIRC yours was a smaller cube build.

1.31 60 ft..394 ci..800+ cam. My other small block with 200 less horse 60 ft just as well..I'm sure that it needs more stall
