Mancini has (or had) a deal on the housing, pump, and neck for a very competitive price. AND they have a 10% discount going on, I think. So there is not that much difference in price between the two.
Personally, I have had mixed success with 440 Source. Half the stuff I have bought from them has been fine. And half has been junk that they would do nothing about. If fact, they didn't even want to hear about it.
I have never had any problem with anything from Mancini. But their stuff is usually more expensive.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

last I remember the 440Source housing had restrictive passages which caused hot running temps. Brad

I have used a ton of 440source stuff my last few builds with great results. I also use a ton of Mancini parts as well. If the prices are comparable or its a name brand part I buy from Summit, Jegs, or Mancini. A ton of the dress up, fabricated, etc type parts I buy from 440source including the water pump, housing, etc.

I bought a 440 Source housing and pump two years ago. Water passages look just like a stock housing. Motor stays nice and cool, it's a 500 hp 451 in a street car.
