i am in need of a collar for a mopar 8 3/4 axle bearing, the part that is press fit to hold the bearing to the shaft. i have new bearings and every thing else i need. i am unable to locate just the collar. does it exist just by itself. i hate to have to buy another set of bearings just to get the collar. yes i have checked local auto parts stores, as well as several online sources. if anyone has a source or a part number i would appreciate it.

The doc is out on weekends and I was looking to source one local to finish a job. My Timken set originated from doc, and i buggered up the collar. An email and $10 I have a new one on the way. FWIW no one else can provide one, I believe I exhausted all options. Thanks all.

The bearings you bought should have came with new collars , every set I have ever bought did.

I have never seen the collars sold separately .

running up my post count some more .

Here's a link to one of my old posts about dana 60 axle bearings. ( https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbt....html#Post12625 ) I bought a locking ring from A&W Bearing in Texas ( http://www.awbearings.com/ )back in 04, so I can't say if they are still available, or are available at all for a 8 &3/4. Good luck. Jess

Yeah, it's hopped up to over 160...
