So I have been chasing the 10's for years and finally did it!This past Wednesday I went a 10.66 at 124MPH. I think the combo has more in it. I just have to figure it out. The car is a 72 Dart with a 500" low deck. Indy SR. Solid cam 650ish, 275@50. compression is around 13.5:1. 727 with an 8" converter flashing at 5400. rear gears are 4.33. I'm not sure if that converter is flashing too high. That is what the company recommended. I also don't have a clue on how to post pics on this site. Not sure if you will be able to view this or not. Thanks in advance. [img:left] https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B89l7x47jBZVcU91NU5FVXZrVHc/view?usp=sharing[/img]

Looks acceptable up to the 1/8,,,,appears lazy from the 1/8 to the 1/4. Might need more fuel or fuel system upgrades.
If you like drag racing, support your local track.

I would work on the 60 ft. times, try different stall speeds, air pressures, shock settings and so on As far as the 1/4 MPH have you tried jetting the carb. up fat enough to slow the MPH down? If not try that, if you can't jet it fat enough to slow the MPH down in the 1/4you need to fix the fuel delivery system Let us know what you do and the results BTW, are your SR 440 port or Max Wedge size? If 440 the porting them to the M.W. size will help also, more air and fuel equals more power

Thanks for all the responses. It really helps! My intake is a 4150 M1 Single plane with a 1000CFM Demon RS on it. Not sure on the jets and squirters. I do know that my AFR is around 11-12:1 from the wideband. I really wanted to confirm that the car had some more in it. It seemed like it did. Now I just have to sort it out.
The heads don't have max wedge ports yet.
Thanks again

Your 60 ft. should be a lot better. If you get it better you would pick up. My full interior 71 Demon with a stock stroke 360 with ported stock heads with the same gears had a 1.49 60 ft. and ran a best of 6.99 in the 1/8.
1.33 60 ft,6.21 at 110.59 in the 1/8, pump gas small block,2950lbs,drag radials,mufflers and driven to track ...
