With a 4-speed you could go w/more duration if you wanted to
Is this a rule of thumb?
Im really on the fence about a bigger cam. Everyone wants to make a bunch of power, but its important to me that this car is street friendly and drivable with the 4 speed.
Thanks
Street friendly is different for different people I guess and if that`s the case then you could go w/less and give up a bit of power for better street ability if that`s what you desire......I like both but understand your needs......
Go with a wider LSA to get a broader torque curve... like
a 112.. with a stick you can change the rpm you leave the
street light or change gears in the rear... I myself dont
like the wide LSA(I had one in my W-9) because you will
loose some bottom end torque.. and it doesnt have the sound
that I like... but with the cubes it should cover up the
low end loss
EDIT
Just put it in at 108 or less
