alright, I have 2 intakes and 2 small block motors being built. the intakes are edelbrock LD340 and edelbrock performer RPM. motor #1 is a warmed up 318. 302 heads, mild cam, headers, ect. motor #2 is going to be a stock appearing (FAST) 416. as of now, the 416 is going to have worked over J heads and a streetable cam. which intake would be better for each motor? any ideas? not sure if I needed to give more info. thanks in advance! -kevin

The performer is pretty much a slightly warmed over stock intake but in aluminum. & also I would check your port matchup as in some intakes have smaller 318 sized ports & others larger 340/360 ports.

The LD340 is far above the stock or the Performer intakes. No comparison. They are by far closer to the the Airgap and RPM than to the stock or Performer intake if you want to compare them to something.
