I'm going to get my Dart running again and I don't want to deal with fuel boiling issues with the stock Carter.

Are they any good?

The few I`ve done need work and a good CLEAN calibration and every hole needs to be pin viced to make sure they`re drilled all of the way through
as some are not.......

Thanks , I guess I'll pass on it.

I can get one new for 280 bucks but if I have to have it gone thru just so it works well I might as well look for a good used holley.

running up my post count some more .

I`d get it at that price and try to not even work on old holleys since billet surpasses em in every way.......

I may have a good used Holley for you, John, in a few weeks. Too long of a story here. I'll know shortly if I'm staying with the Holley or going back to Carter. Holley 750cfm w/vacuum secondaries.

I built a Pro-Form carb. I started with a 750DP, added the main body, liked it ran great, added the base plate soon after, Worked very well. Pretty much the only thing left from the Holley was the fuel bowls. If you are having boiling issues get the carb up off the intake. Use a 1/2" 4 hole spacer.

Trying to head off a potential issue that seems to be a reoccurring theme with Carter type carbs, and do it as cheaply as possible because I'll be sending the carb down the road eventually. .
