Can any one help me on this, bought a dana rear thought it was for a b body. Spring perches were too far apart to set on springs putting it in a 68 roadrunner. The measurement drum to drum is correct for 68 b body 60 inches. Would anyone know what its out of? It should work for 68 b body can I just move the spring perches in?????????????????

Does it have pads for the pinion snubber? If so, somebody already moved the perches (they should be 44" center-to-center). Look for the BOM number stamped in the right axle tube to see its original application.

If it is the correct width from drum to drum, cut the perches off and move them in. Be sure to set the pinion angle before welding the perches to the housing.
