I did use stock pushrods, but, stock heads were also shaved .030, and stock gaskets were replaced with fel-pros. between the 2, I took out .050" of required pushrod length.
Now that I have edelbrock heads on the motor, I have adjustable roller rockers
If you're loose, You probably need longer pushrods. stock cam has like, .420 lift? that 5.9 whiplash has .544 lift.

i still have the shelby motor for ya, when i finish putting together the new 340.
you bet! just say when.
the 89-360 headed 318 police engine I scored from member LARRY360 just got a new whiplash roller installed. wont be long and the 91-318 will have 200,000 on it and get swaped out for the police engine on the NV4500
I will slide the Shelby engine into the 94 Ram on the NV3500
I think I will go pick up that 69 440 for 300$ next week while I am stocking up on spare engines.
