The bowl is the most important part of it. After flowing literally hundreds of ports like that, I either leave them oval or make them square. Just make sure if you leave them alone (and you should) that your intake exactly matches the port.
I would also make sure they didn't machine the guide boss away. Big flow killer if they did.

The W2 has been a oval port head since they were born in the 70's. No such thing as a rectangle port W2 head from the factory.
Some porters have made them into rectangles.

Sheldon, Look to see anywere on the head, on the ends to see who could have ported them!!!! I use to work at Diamond Racinr Engines, here in Warren Mi. Those could have come from there!! Butch Elkins designed that head for Mopar, back in the day!!! They started life off the, "T/A", Head!! Let us know, Thanks!!! Dwayne
