Car weight? Rear gear ratio? What RPM do you shift and what RPM when you hit the stripe? Have you flashed the converter?

Your 60 foot tells me it should be a lot faster.
Wallace Racing - 1/8th Mile ET/MPH/HP Calculator Weight is as the car sits on the line; driver and gas in it. Calculate ET and MPH from HP and Weight Weight HP Your ET / MPH computed from your vehicle weight of 3100 pounds and HP of 606 is 6.46 seconds and 107.95 MPH.

Agreed to a point though..............if everything else is up to snuff, could be just a great working suspension.

Converter stall you listed is below peak torque. That would hurt your times, but they don't look that far off. I would think at least 5500 stall would work better. I only have a 600 rpm window between stall and shift point, works great.

It crossed my mind to try a smaller carb....
What about the AED ??? You have one ?
Dan
All kinds of guess work here Trans could be bad , vert could be a issue Or both Fuel delievery ie pump n line restrictions bad regulator. Jetting a carb is done by heat , or the lack of heat Timing plays a huge part as well . With limited info, hard to say whats going on here
