Car weight? Rear gear ratio? What RPM do you shift and what RPM when you hit the stripe? Have you flashed the converter?

Your 60 foot tells me it should be a lot faster.

Agreed to a point though..............if everything else is up to snuff, could be just a great working suspension.

What was the 1/8 mph ? I guess I would think it could be faster with that good of a 60. My 3700 lb 63 runs 6.80's in the 1/8 with a 1.50 sixty. Ron

That's a good 60 foot. Is it laying down at all? Too much stall? I'd think w/ a 1.38 you'd be deeper in the 6's for sure.

Converter stall you listed is below peak torque. That would hurt your times, but they don't look that far off. I would think at least 5500 stall would work better. I only have a 600 rpm window between stall and shift point, works great.

Short times are good! You need to be looking at why you are losing your good momentum down track. I'm guessing you are running around 101-103. May need to look into fuel jetting to get your top end mixture better, or even converter lock up.

I have a 4.56 Dana60, should I go with 30 or 31 in slicks ?

All kinds of guess work here
Trans could be bad , vert could be a issue
Or both
Fuel delievery ie pump n line restrictions bad regulator.
Jetting a carb is done by heat , or the lack of heat
Timing plays a huge part as well .
With limited info, hard to say whats going on here
