There was a 3:3? but I'm 99% sure it was a ford ratio , you'll have to search to see if you can find an old set , nothing new is available that I have ever seen.
3.33 where in 1980s ford 3.31 where in 80s dana 61

Dana's are well known for their 3:54 and 4:10 gears as standard ratios. Are there gear sets out there that fit the Dana 60 in options lower than the 3:54 like perhaps 3:40 or 3:33 or 3:23? I know Ford made a 3:73 for a Dana 60 but thats about it. Thoughts? I know it was possible to have a 3:23 behind a Hemi with an automatic but that came with an 8 3/4" and not a Dana 60.
Buddy
Is it really worth all the hassle, I don't think you will notice the difference between a 3.54 to a 3.23 or especially anything in-between

According to RPM calculator (http://www.csgnetwork.com/multirpmcalc.html )a car with 27 inch tires, 1:1 high gear (regular 4 spd),and a 3.54 will be turning 3084 RPM at 70 MPH (speed limit here in ky). Same car with 3.33 gear will be turning 2900 RPM, worth the hassle..?? jess
Yeah, it's hopped up to over 160...
