The factory strap up front plus the front of the helper is tied to a plate under the springs. Found a pic of when I put it together....
Now don't bust on me 'cause I've been putting up with this issue since just after this photo was taken.

I don't think that progressive helper spring is doing anything for your wheel hop. You need to clamp each leaf to the spring bundle in front of the axle. That is the easiest and cheapest thing to try right now.
If you do it let us know if it helped then you can consider other options if needed.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

your overload spring is not helping and can be causing the wheel hop.
I removed the overload leaf from my spring pack for a 4 leaf spring pack...I added 2" drop shackles...I built some traction bars that bolt on top of leafs.
I also made a torque strap tying the engine to frame up front.
now my whiplash roller cam 318 with NV4500 5 speed will smoke 1,2,3 gear with no wheel hop.
on the 88-440 truck I did a shackle flip with axle flop, a-body 8 3/4 with 12" rims 29x15x15 MTs in the fenders. no wheel hop what so ever with the flip flop/stock 3 leaf spring.

My 92 D250 has done that too. It doesn't happen all the time.
Quit doing burnouts. It's a truck setup for carrying loads, not hot rodding.
You need to find a way to keep the front of the spring from flexing.
