All this talk the last couple weeks about low deck builds. Figured I was far enough along with my build to show some pics...

So its a low deck Indy Maxx block 4.5" bore and a Callies 4.25" stroke crank. Callies Ultra h-beams, Diamond custom 14 to 1 pistons. Custom Push rod oil conversion and a 54mm cam core.

IMM built the the short with the oil mods, and set up the Koffels ported B1 Originals.

Should crack 900 HP and move my 2,500 lbs stratus along nicely compared to the small block.

I also converted the car to a glide and took some rear gear out of it. Motor should be in the car this week. I have headers yet to build, so hopefully that goes smooth and I can get to testing!

Wow, look at that custom lifter and cam lobe oiling system. Seems like a simple idea, but lots of little tubes and fittings.

With the B1 heads, that should make some power!

Looks like all new parts, even on the outside.
Is that the new, black hard anodized Milodon oil pump cover? (for external oil pickup lines and remote filter).

Like the valley plate. Where can I get me one of those? Look forward to hearing the results.

Pasco Machine, has been kind of a local sponsor for me on stuff like that. The built my Racepak mount, and do little things like that on the lathe or mill I need for the race car...

I am way excited to have some results too! Its been a long winter making all this come together!

Yes its all new, and yes that is the Milodon cover. I wanted to run the filter the conventional way but it just barely contacted my rack. I didn't want to run a smaller filter...

Forest,
I'll be looking for you at Woodburn this year. That should get you in the mid to high 8's. I forget how much your car weighs? Hopefully I'll have the new Predator in the car, and running well.

Look GREAT. Should be a VERY nice combo.

i see your valley plate is removable with the heads still in place, what are you proposing to use to seal along the flange face? on my Maxx block the valley plate is sandwiched under the heads so i had to use one of Andys removable inner plates to access the valley which works fine. On my Stage 6 head engine i had to bolt the valley plate to the flange face to stop it wanting to leak since it wasn't held like the Indy headed version even with a quality 3 Bond sealer.

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments! I will be happy with mid 8's, but wouldn't mid a lower eight.

Yes I plan to be at Woodburn for the Mopar Nats and hopefully again for the ET finals.

I used silicon on the beveled 1/4" plate, and am hoping that it is ridged enough to stay sealed...

Once you get the chassis sorted out mid 8 wont be
a problem... I would expect low 8s easy
