I bought this HILBORN FUEL INJECTION unit at an auction today and cannot find a lot of info. on what it might fit. It is 2 separate manifolds that look like a BB Chrysler and the only numbers on the manifolds are 331-C-8. Any help would be great.

If I was to guess, I would say that would fit the first 331 CID Hemis for the 1951 models

Hope you did not pay to much...I have seen auction fever and it can be scary

Looking at the pictures I have found I do not think it is a Hemi, the Hemis tubes are spaced evenly apart. The BB units are grouped together.
The ports are not MAX WEDGE size. As for price I go to at least one auction a week, there are a lot here in NC. Sometimes you pay to much sometimes you get a steal. In my experience I have been able to buy a lot of hard to find items ( auto parts is mostly what I look for )and tools that you would never be able to buy if the owner was still alive.
The junkier the sale generally the better. They had the fuel injection unit paired up with a factory GM intake for a 62 fuel injected Vette What are the odds of finding that under some guys tool bench ?

Just found this on the bag.....Hilborn 331-CH-80 440 Chrysler. Being it is basically the same # minus the H and 0, could it be a predecessor? Possibly.

It's CADILLAC - here's a 4-71 intake I used to own & block/head surface position.

I saw that on E bay Looks pretty similar , number is close. Mine the mounting flanges are not cut like BB intakes. Like you said though it could be a early version. A Caddy is possible,

Pulled up a picture of a 1953 331 intake gasket and it had the holes for I assume is a locating dowel ? Thanks for your input. I guess the C means Caddy and the CH means Chrysler.

Call Mike Chilando at Alkydiggers in Nashville--he will make you an offer on the spot--it is not worth as much as you think but still way cool and rare so...Mike is straight up guy I bought the one pictured complete with pump for $600 at a big well attended show--it takes about $1000 more to get a good pump, plumbing, nozzles etc so it is a Long way from running again--hose sets are over $150 FWIW

I would measure the port width and height to see if it is a 440, M.W.or B1 port size Looking at the first picture it looks like this unit is a cast magneiseum (SP?) unit, not aluminum Call them and ask the source, there really good folks to deal with Those early tubelar mechanical F.I. unit converted to EFI works great at the track and on the street

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Thanks for the help Bull1tt, It is for a Cadilac as pointed out by you and 6bblgt . Looks like the Caddy stuff is non-existent , which from a selling the selling end is good,
