Hey guys was considering upgrading my stock strut rods on my 70 RR.The dynamic QA1s caught my eye. I am still a bit of a novice so I was curious what advantage they would have over the originals and if you guys think they would be a good addition to a daily driver?

I already have a K member reinforced by Firm Feel and Tubular UCAs and boxed LCA.

Our strut rods provide the proper interference fit in the LCA mounting hole, and our latest design incorporates a hex into the strut rod for easy adjustments.

QA1 Precision Products 52312 - QA1 Dynamc Adjustable Strut Barsrs-I run these on my car, very nice and easy to work with.

No, it was a rolling phase-in. If you order them direct, you'll get the new design.

I think of the adjustable rods as a problem solver, especially with poly LCA bushings. Factory tolerances were maybe not so tight and who knows what may have happened to the K over the years. If you have geometry/alignment/strut length issues, the adjustables can solve it. I'm using them on an E with poly LCA bushings. With stock rods, there was ~1/8" gap on the thrust surface of the LCA bushing on the left and the alignment would not come in. The adjustables fixed that problem. Alignment is right where I want it now. Just don't crank them too far forward or the bushing will take a beating. If alignment now is OK and no other problems, I believe stock is fine.

I am using FF pieces which are nice. I'm sure others are also.

I run them, they helped the front end of my car @130 mph. Not sure you'll notice much difference on a daily driver.
