What block do you use? Did you bush the lifter bores?

matt

Mid 70s 360 block, lifter bores are not bushed.

Did you use AMC lifters? They oil through the push rod. Brian did my heads and speced my cam for me. Do you have an up close picture of your rocker set up? thx matt

Darryl... you mentioned gear change. Assuming a whole new pig, or are you still running that aluminum center section?

I do not remember the part number of the lifters Matt, Brian ordered them.
This is the best pic of the rockers that I have.

Thank you Daryl and everyone else for the positive comments!

Those are Comp 8043-16 lifters.

Valve train life is more about lobe choice, rpm, toss weight, and spring used than anything. It all has to work in harmony or you'll get shorter life.
Using quality components like the TD rockers is KEY to valvetrain life and stability!! Very important.

Let me guess Ray I was moving so slow you thought I was one of the check points so you snapped that photo.
