I purchased a set of aluminum sheet metal valve covers and a pair of breather/oil separators that will also be used later down the road when I install a vacume pump.So my question to you all is,,,,,,where is the sweet spot to install the breathers on the covers. For now the breathers will go from the valve cover to a puke tank for each side. I'll post some pics later.
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

I would want them as far forward as possible and as far away from a rocker arm tips as possible, not symetrical I would also put a baffle under where they are The bad thing about putting in two breathers now and then having to seal them up later with the vacume pump is why do it twice? I think I would run the covers I have now and use the new ones later when the vacume pump went on But I'm lazy also

The Moroso oil/air separator is quite tall with baffleing material in the middle.

Went looking for hardware today and came up with nothing Had to massage the firewall to get the right side cover on.The left side, had to modify the throttle bracket that bolts to the side of the blower. Fred,we sunk the allen head further into the tube, just not as far as you did.

I fixed mine like this . Reason for this modification was that cutting off the top of a Afco adjustable shock was not a option. The bolt hole was also moved 7/8" out towards the fender. These Moroso covers are for sale $300 plus shipping. Mark 831 277 4931

Top unscrews to add oil.
And, they include a tire sidewall scouring pad. Nice!!!
Hemi-itis, you can see here where I put my burndown breathers. Never picked up oil in those locations.
Dave,do those style breathers have a baffle?Where do the breather hoses go,puke tank??
