Not sure if you are an original parts only guy but those Budd brakes are a money pit.
The simple solution is to get a set of 69-72 or 73 C-body spindles and lower balljoints. Balljoint is the same from 65-73. 73 is the preferable spindle because the 73 rotor is 1/3 the price of the 69-72 rotor but is getting hard to find because it's 1 year only. The rest of the parts like balljoints, pads and calipers are the same and readily available.
Kevin
I believe 73 rotors were also used on trucks & vans until around 1980 so there should be more available than earlier styles.

That's why they are cheaper. They used the same rotor on c's, vans and d100's from 73 until the trucks went to 5x5.5 bolt circle in the early 80's. I'm assuming the B series van switched bolt circles at the same time the trucks did.
I've heard a rumor that they are machining the unicast rotor for the 72 and earlier spindle size but the price is still 3x's the 73 style.
Still WAY cheaper than lower balljoints, rotors and calipers for a Budd system.

http://ubmachine.com/balljointsleeves.htmlcut up your lower arm and weld in a ring to use the common mopar k727 lower ball joint... or whatever common ball joint will fit your spindle's taper. you could even ream the spindle to make a better ball joint fit. we did something like this to my buddy's '64 fairlane because the lower ball joints for it are stupid expensive.

so here is the difference in a c-body vs. imperial front suspension. i didn't know they were that different.
Yeah, practically nothing interchanges between the 67-73 unibody Imperials and C bodies suspension-wise other than maybe the shocks. The 69-73 cars look similar, but from the firewall forward they were still their own car.
