On the 70's factory disc which do you prefer, pin or slider calipers?

Pins also have longer max. piston stroke, allowing more horrors before losing the fluid (not that any of us would ever allow that). Still, 6 of one, 1/2-dozen of the other...and sliders are much more available. Rick

T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 21,074 Niles , Ohio	Pin thype has 2 pins that hold the pad and calipar in place and go thru the pad.Slider type just slides in and has the 2 5/16s shrt bolts that go into the bracket from the top.They have the small pieces that go under the bolt that keeps them from lifting.Rocky Chrysler Firepower
