back when I still had my w2 motor (rip) , I used a mechanical roller with .760/.738 theoretical lift, thanks to the geometry the actual numbers where much less...

The biggest problem is that to gain runner volume you have to have wide runners and lot of offset on the intake rockers, then you waste a lot of lift in the sideways motion of the pushrod... mine had 1" offset which made it extreme, still managed to go 9.39

yes, how much lift do you think you lose on a 720 intake lift w2 motor becaues of the gemotry?

Hard to guess, depends on offset we did measure lift but I cant remember the exact numbers but it was more than I expected , I remember we had to measure 2 or 3 times just because it didn t make sense at first we put one dial indicator on the lifter and another on the valve ,that was the moment I understood why they made 48* blocks

how fast is it? spraying it? looks good !!!
50 shot of spray with no tuning did 10.76 @ 128 mph. 1.65 60'. 3800 lbs race weight.
This was the first time I sprayed. Everything stayed together. I will make my way to 150 shot next summer.

What make of cam?
I'm building a 450+ small block. Using my w2's and tunnel ram. 13.1 comp and wondering about what cam to use.
