Agreed, the easy out will just grind out the inner diameter of the brass, use the torx bit method.

I use a square 4 edged ez out on those fittings when they break.
I learn something new here all the time.
thanks,I will try that torx bit trick next time I have a trans fitting broke.

Yep, the spiral type EZ-Out will usually just spin in the brittle brass but the square type will work.
