jimmyc340 OP member J Joined: May 2011 Posts: 47 Glendale AZ	I removed the old one and installed the new but it wont release so I cant put the car in gear. Any help will be appriciated Ji

To adjust the cable, place the Park lever in the OFF position and have somebody hold it there; then pull out gently on the cable housing to its limit of travel and then tighten the clamp stud nut to no more than 10 inch lbs.
