Mallory 4110 pump doesn't need a regulator and would work good.

Cool, the fuel pump is perfectly located, close and below the sump and behind the fuel cell. And being so close to the outlet helps a bunch and may even allow it to work for you most of the time the way it is. But a non restricted flow of gas to your pump will make the pump last longer and operate quieter. It will shorten the life of the pump at the very least the way it is now.
