Holley base plate fix?

what I have here is a fracture that needs to be fixed.
Question being, is there a way to weld it?

Its just aluminum, so you can weld it, but wow that a nasty one.

No you can't weld it, It should be replaced.
It can be welded,have done more than one.You need somebody that is good a tig weldrer,most work is the finish machineing.

You may be able to get another base plate at a swap meet or junk yard? I sold some old carbs at the swap meet really cheap just to get rid of the clutter.
That plate has a provision to mount an idle solenoid,most don't.

 it has bigger secondaries than primarys  and it has a vacuum fitting for the ac at the rear.
