Will some please make this question a sticky once and for all? Along with "What is the best rear main seal?" and "Where can I find a BB oil pump gasket?"....
All anybody needs to do is send me a PM for the answers to all three questions
BTW Randy, I've never used a slinger in any of mine the seal is more than adequate

Yeah the term is misleading... never could see how it would sling oil up onto the chain... you would think it would have had some sort of paddles at the ends to throw oil around

Why the negative vibes?? If you don't like a thread, don't look at it...Sure...A lot of questions are asked over and over...And not everyone catches them. Get over it already!!
I strongly suggest you get over it and think twice before flapping your pie hole. No negative vibes were intended in that comment. It was a legitimate request to the mods because a certain few questions do get asked so often.
