As for position, one goes on under the weatherstrip, with the round end exposed, where the door glass makes the turn on top. UCUDANT OP Troll Hunter Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 8,138 New Mexico	A window channel screw holds it in, so it's under the seal. If you can pull your seal down in the top front corner the install is a snap. So it's an anti rattle device
