I know. It was not my intake, but it was stock, I cannot say that it was not modified or not.

looks about right to me, now go post this is the race section "$$for$$ post or BB vs SB. Had a dude tell me 500 using staock parts wasn't possible. Now go run the snot out of it.
I was that dude - and if you think that the 509 cam made 125 more horses then a stock 440 +4 ( 375 horse ) .... well I cant wait to see what it runs at the track.. imagine if he put a cam from the 1990's in there???
Not all dyno's read the same number
The the OP - Nice build, but I bet if it goes on a different dyno it reads a different number. Have fun with your motor and good luck.

I know man, just goofing around ya know. I'm guessing he might have more compression than he thinks with those #'s...maybe they are flip flopped? 504 torque and 484 HP?

I too did a similar rebuild in a 67 Coronet R/T.509/292 purple shaft, 3200 converter,3.91 gears, manual shift auto,TM7 intake,750 Holley dbl pumper, ported iron heads using the mopar performance templates, clutch fan, solid motor mts.Hooker super comp headers 1 3/4 tubes,& S/S springs. Low 12's thru Walker Race Magnum mufflers that dumped in front of the axle. I ran Milan Dragway all day long on street radials that I couldn't hook.Wish I would have uncorked the pipes, and put on a set of slicks!! yahoooo!! Loved the combo.I am planning on doing another.Fast machine & cheap money. Enjoy! HR20.

That combo is what i tell everyone to build for a true milder 440 screamer, Its old school & tried & true, remember back in the day when the Chargers/Coronets/RRs with 440s were tearing up the streets, that was the combo, but they ran a SD & 850dp., 3800 converter & 3.91/4.10 gears. Buddy of mine had a 68 Charger with the old shool 446 & mildly ported 906 heads, ran 3.23 gears & a 3000 stall, the engine was set up to run a 38-4200 stall & 4.10 gears, he never installed them, Car ran 12.3s @ 109 with a set of slicks & un-corked exhaust on its 1st. & only pass with no other tuneing. I'd ditch the stock intake for a SD, keep the 750 if its a DPer for now. If you can bang the gears with stickies, car should run mid 12s all day long if not better.
