I know there are TON of variables, but what is the rule of thumb for CFM of fans to HP its trying to cool? I.E. 450 HP needs 3,300CFM etc........ May need to get electric fans for my street toy and only want to do it once.

Want to do it once? Then who cares about a formula for CFM? Buy the highest capacity you can fit. As far as I know Zirgo has the highest CFM ratings thru out all the size range. You have to determine whether you can/want to fit 12, 14 or 16 inch. Zirgo has a powerful pusher in each size. http://www.zirgo.com/catalog/
