can you put it into gear?
I think a 1/4" might be too much, but I don't know. I have a 3 finger hydro clutch and the directions said to have between .125 and .180 (or somewhere around there) of space from the bearing to the fingers. I usually set it at just less than 3/16"

then that's the way it is .
.......Mopars really don't "respond" well to those diaphram clutches,........should have gone with a 3 finger Borg/ Beck design in the 2400-2800 lbs range.......usally with the diapham set ups, any high rpm shifts, usally result with the pedal "laying" on the floor.....from my experiences .......lets us know how you make out.........

Yeah it shifts into all the gears. I have to push the peddle about half way down before i get any resistance. once i get the car going i can mess with it more but i was just curious if that is how a diaphragm pressure plate feels
Sounds like mine, 1/4" and soft pedal about half way down, after bleeding it.
