Gotta give it more time than a couple of hours ... at least over-nite.

I am redoing a 413 truck motor and I grabbed the PU off of that ...and checked it out. All I did was knock the screen-end on a block of wood(it loosened the crud up) and the stuff came right out.

NO metal in there just valve-stem-seals and what looked like parts of a VC gasket.



Sounds exactly like what's in mine.
