front tranz outlet is from the pump to the lower rad cooler,out of rad cooler into the aftermarket cooler,then to the back inlet on the tranz

it is at high temp comeing out of the front pump..gets cooled down to water temp/stat rateing then thru the air cooler to cool it down more then dumps it back in the tranz at the rear tranz line inlet

a stacked plate cooler is better than a tube fin cooler and can be smaller for this reason

IMHO the bigger the better and hook it up the way the factory did it for 30-40 yrs...they did their homework way back then too
