I don't know who makes the Eliminator you buy from Canadian Tire but I have one that's at about 11 years old.

Bought a $300 Ramcharger parts truck for my Ram in 2001. It had a nice battery in it so I kept it too. Had a "99" date on it. Probably was 2 years old.

It's still in my truck today and it's not quite a daily driver. It sits for weeks at a time and is still in there today.
