The 3.5 HO engines were always mounted like a RWD car. The LHS and 300M used the engine in the same orientation with a transaxle mounted behind the engine. It's an all aluminum engine that would be a prime candidate for this kind of swap. You would need to run the factory computer to keep the variable cam timing and variable intake manifold operating.
