I developed the Wilwood + 11.75 kit years ago just for street/strip cars. That way you can have the low cost and reliability of the factory rotor, but you save a bunch of weight by going with the aluminum caliper.

I'm not a big fan of using race kits on the street. The lightweight aluminum hubs aren't really designed to handle potholes and such. Of course, some folks do it and don't have problems so you just have to make a decision based on how much you drive the car and the conditions that you drive it in.
