Thanks guys!!! I've made up my mind and I'll use what I have. I have thought about brazing since I seem to be better at that than the MIG but I never considered solder. Another option I just remember is there is a place that does the "spray welding" north of Emporia, KS which isn't far from where the car is. I'll be home in about 3 weeks and I'll try and post a couple pics here. The floor does have some pitting. I just hated to pass up the chance to get a full, rust free full floor. So, what would be the easiest way to get that floor out? I may buy it anyway since I'm sure someone may need it. My plan was to cut the top off, cut all across the rear seam then across the lower part of the firewall just above the seam. I know I will have to cut the front rails and get the torsion bars out. Still not 100% sure I'll have the time to do it.
