Kenny, yeah I've always followed your stuff very closely, very cool and I'm hoping we can get to work together on a project some time, please keep me updated on the 500 SB olds, I first assumed that is had to be a 350 diesel block but the huge bores it has to be a 403....I always thought the 403 would be cool with a better casting that doesn't have the weak 'windowed' saddle webs. Isn't that block pretty weak or have you bolstered it somehow (I guess a girdle would help a ton). But I'm thinking there was one early year where the block had solid webs that was a lot stronger but rarer to find (you see I know more than just mopars ) The 350 diesel block is a hoss and still has a decent 4.07" (IIRC) correctly but I didn't think it could go to 500". I'm guessing you run a 455" 4.25" crank with an offset grind
to run ???? journal/length rod?
I re-tit;ed the post to cast a bigger net and catch the bracket racer results too, I didn't mean to infer I only wanted dyno data, I know most guys just run em straight off the stand.
