Dropped the block, crank and rods to the shop, Machinist and I were both marvelling at seeing an uncut 340....not many of them left around any more. He does a lot of small block Mopars and has the deck plates too....A BIG shout out to my good buddy David Kluttz (Crabman173 here on moparts, who is a for real top notch engine builder hisself!) for turning me on to Hollis Page at www.HPEngines.net in Norwood, N.C.

I'm hoping it'll clean up at .020, nothing like a freshly machined big-bore small block, can't wait to get her back and put her on the stand.

I'm pretty much known as a Big Block guy but the truth be told I really love those 340's, mainly 'cause my little 4 speed Dart used to put the right regularly on all those allegedly nasty big blocks back in the day....of course those W2's (that cost me a FORTUNE back then....but were WORTH IT!) probably helped a bit too
