I was told that is what I needed because with my car in "park" and at idle the car runs great! idles fine and sounds good. When I put it in "drive" the idle goes way down, runs real choppy/crappy and wants to stall out on me in the driveway, at stoplights, stop signs, etc..... I also have to keep my foot on the brake real hard while at stoplights to keep the car from wanting to lunge forward (more like "surge" forward) It runs great going down the road but really starts to act up at standstill while in gear. So, based on that I was told a 3000-3200 stall converter will/should fix that issue for me. I also know my carb is not running exactly right. So I wanted to replace that also. Any advice appreciated.
