Can anyone recommend a decent carb and converter that's not to pricey for a 400 Chrysler engine? I unfortunately have no cam card on this particular engine, but was told by the previous owner it was a "purple cam" (seems those words are used loosely in this hobby and doesn't really help me to ID it) I do know that the cam is lumpy and the engine is mildly built in my opinion. I am wanting around a 3200-3500 stall without spending a ton of money. The car will not be raced, just an average street car. What converter and carb (around 600-650 cfm) would you recommend to me priced reasonably?..Thanks Moparts Members!
