I did find something interesting with the LF frame rail. It looked like someone possibly had put large tires on the front that rubbed through the frame at full turn. Upon closer inspection, I found that the frmae rail had been punched in sometime early in its life and someone had brazed a piece of sheetmetal over the dent and covered it with undercoating. Possibly to fool a State Motor Vehicle Inspection Station?

Either way, when I ground that brazing off and pulled back the sheet metal "cover", it was full of dirt that held in the moisture for years. I'll see how it cleans up.
